Maico Roris Severino

Maico Roris Severino is an adjunct Professor at Federal University of Goiás. He holds a Ph.D., Master and Bachelor in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR). His research interests lie in the fields of supply chain management, planning and controlling of production lines, sustainability and solidary economy. He has published 7 international papers, 13 chapter books and 73 papers in congresses and has also organized 4 specialized books.

Hélio Fuchigami

Helio Fuchigami is an adjunct professor in Production Engineering at the Federal University of Goiás.  He holds a Bachelor in Computer Science, a Master and a PhD in Production Engineering as well as a postdoctoral degree obtained from the University of New South Wales, in Australia. Helio’s research interests lie in Operational Research and Production Scheduling problems. He has published 2 articles in peer-reviewed international journals, 14 in Brazilian journals, 4 international conference papers and 25 Brazilian conference papers.

Lie Yamanaka

Lie Yamanaka is an adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Goiás. Graduated in Business Administration, she holds a master degree and a PhD in Production Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo - School of Engineering of Sao Carlos, doing part of her PhD research at Silesian University of Technology. She is interested in the following areas of research: work organization, business strategy, small business management and solidarity economy. She has published 3 articles in journals, 1 book chapter and 20 articles in local and international conferences in the field of Production Engineering.

Marcelo Nunes Fonseca

Graduated in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá - UNIFEI (2012). Internships in Quality and Production Planning and Control. Master and PhD in Production Engineering (UNIFEI) in the area of ​​economic analysis of investments. During his master's degree he did an internship for a month in Luanda, Angola. The development of his dissertation was based on the use of real options in the analysis of investments for the development of an Angolan oil field. In his thesis, he developed a framework for analyzing the use of hybrid systems (Diesel and Photovoltaic) for power generation in Isolated regions (off-grid systems). During his first teaching experience, he taught the subjects of Economic Engineering, Accounting, Productive Systems and Production Management at Centro Universitário de Itajubá (2016 to 2017). Since October 2017, he has been an undergraduate professor, teaching the subjects of Economic Engineering, Accounting and Cost Management and the professional master's degree in Production Engineering at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). Currently, he is vice-coordinator of the professional master's degree in Production Engineering and since October 2017 he is a member of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus of the undergraduate course in Production Engineering. He is interested in research on topics related to the analysis of investments in renewable energy, mainly Photovoltaic Systems, and decision on the capital structure of companies. He was one of the coordinators of the project to transfer the hospital structure of the Hospital das Clínicas de Goiás and of research projects to reduce waste (lean thinking) in companies located in the city of Goiânia and Aparecida de Goiânia.

Alberto Campos de Oliveira Filho

Postgraduate Student of MBA in Project Management by IPOG, Graduated in Social Sciences - Qualification in Public Policies at the Federal University of Goiás. During the graduation period between 2012 and 2017 I participated with several complementary activities such as the organization of the Politizar Extension Project in partnership with UFG, the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goiás and the Faculty of Social Sciences, and also with the Project of Cardiovascular Risk Studies in Children and Adolescents for the Institute of Studies in Collective Health (IESC / UFRJ). The main performance in my academic trajectory was participation in UFG's Social Incubator, where we have been working since 2012 with themes related to Solidarity Economy, Popular Cooperativism, National Solid Waste Policy aimed at the development of Social Technologies for the organization and strengthening of cooperatives of recyclable material collectors from the state of Goiás. In 2019 I worked on project 443439 / 2018-4 - Development of social technologies to analyze the viability of the participation of family farmers in the edicts of the National School Feeding Program (PNAE).

Mara Rúbia da Silva Miranda

Graduated in Production Engineering, she holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU (2011) and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brasília - UnB (2017). In 2019 she completed the Post Doctoral Internship in the Postgraduate Program in Production Engineering at the Federal University of Goiás-UFG. In the industry she has experience in the area of ​​Quality Engineering and Logistics, working in multinational companies. In her research she works in the area of ​​Sustainability Engineering, focusing on industrial waste management and energy management. She served as a professor at the Post-Graduate Institute (IPOG), teaching modules in areas related to her education, as well as topics related to sustainability engineering. In 2019 she worked as a Substitute Professor in the Production Engineering course at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). She has 9 years of experience as a teacher in higher education teaching subjects in the Administration, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering courses. She was a Production Engineering course coordinator for 5 years at CESUC Faculty in Catalão-GO. Throughout her academic career, she has guidelines for final course work, as well as publications and research and extension work. She is currently an Adjunct Class Teacher at the University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS).

Dr Athanasios (Thanos) Rentizelas is School of Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, . His research interests lie in supply networks & reverse supply chain design and optimisation; sustainability assessment and performance improvement in extended supply chains; digitally enabled supply chains; energy-related supply chains, such as the unconventional oil & gas and bio-based value chains. He has led or participated in more than 20 research and consultancy projects during the past 15 years in the areas of supply network design optimisation, reverse logistics, small farmer distribution logistics, recycling systems, circular economy value chains, techno-economic analyses and risk analyses for road tunnels.
